Extra Help provides the following home help services:
- Domestic cleaning, tidying, laundry and ironing
- Companionship – popping in, spending some time
- Providing respite for carer
- Shopping
- Accompany clients to shops, appointments etc
- Household jobs (eg changing beds)
- Meal preparation
- Assistance to social events
- Spring cleaning
- Gardening and light DIY
Who it is for?
The service is available to everyone - primarily focusing on the elderly.
Where it is available?
What it costs:
The cost is £18 per hour. This includes the helper's wage and a business fee to Extra Help. Extra Help will ensure that a replacement is found should the helper be ill or on holiday. Extra Help also personally interviews their helpers, reference checks them and ensures they have a DBS certificate. Extra Help is also fully ensured.

What to expect then:
We shall have a short phone call to establish requirements. We will then arrange a face to face meeting in the client's home to obtain a more detailed understanding of the services that they require. We recommend that you invite along a family member or friend to assist in decision making.
