This site will help you explore options and make decisions about meeting your housing, support and care needs in later life. It contains detailed information on how to maintain, adapt or improve your home or release equity from it, find care or home help services, find and move to retirement housing or choose a care home where you will feel at home.

It also specialises in all forms of 'housing-with-care' including extra care housing, assisted living and retirement villages.

The site is run by the charity Elderly Accommodation Counsel (EAC), and backed up by the free national and independent advice service we provide jointly with Counsel and Care, Help the Aged and NHFA Limited.

Hanover Housing received QI Mark awards this week for 13 of its sheltered housing schemes. Hanover operates throughout England, providing a range of affordable sheltered and extra care housing for older people.

Well over 2,000 schemes have now received the QI Mark,which aims to encourage housing providers to present detailed and accurate information on this website about their specialist housing for older people. Read our last newsletter for more about the QI Mark.
