Personal Care - Care at Home

What does it do?

Personal Care

The level of home care provided to you will depend on your individual needs and circumstances. These will be discussed with you when you take part in an assessment.

Carers from the Council, or our approved partners, will help you with daily living tasks such as personal care (washing and dressing). They may also be able to help with cleaning and shopping if it is part of your care plan. The aim is to help you to keep your independence, skills and confidence.

The Council also runs a number of specialist care at home services providing support for people with dementia, people with complex needs and those who need help during the night.
