What does it do?
Preparing meals and snack:
Your care support worker can prepare or assist you to prepare breakfast, lunch, evening meal or supper and any other snacks and drinks that you may need during the day. The care support worker will be able to sit with you, if you want, while you have your meal and have a conversation or keep you company.
Domestic and Household service:
Your care support worker will assist you or carry out light domestic tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, ironing and general cleaning duties.
Your care support worker can help with practical tasks such as preparing shopping lists and assisting you with shopping. We can also sit with you and keep you company and or go with you on walks, appointments and accompany you on trips out.
Your care support worker can assist with personal care, which may involve dressing, bathing, bathroom assistance, moving and handling and assistance with medication management.
Support to help you recover:
We can help and support you when you come home from hospital or if you are recovering from an illness.
We offer informal gatherings for support and advice at a time that is convenient to you.
Who it is for?Our aim is to assist and support younger and older adults to remain in their own homes and live as independently as possible. we will promote independence through the provision of specialists care and support. we offer one to one care, with tailored person centred care which will enable you to gain the support in your familiar environment.

What it costs:The hourly rate is £11.96 per hour. You may be able to get funding support through Social Services or The Primary Care trust depending on your circumstances.
