What does it do?A home care worker can help with many personal care tasks. The role of a home care worker can be quite varied, depending on the needs of the people they support. If we can help you with home care, your needs will have to be assessed so we can provide the right type of care.

Who it is for:

If you need help with personal care such as washing, dressing or getting
in and out of bed. You can also receive help with other practical daily
tasks such as cooking meals; cleaning; shopping; and taking medication.

Where it is available:

Local service covering: Craven, Hambleton, Harrogate, Richmondshire, Ryedale, Scarborough, Selby (North Yorkshire).

What it costs:

You will have to pay for some social care services you receive
but others may be free or at a reduced cost, depending on your financial
circumstances.
