What does it do?This is an emergency call service

Who it is for:

This is an emergency call service for vulnerable people. It is available to council and non council tenants and is also available to owner occupiers and private tenants from anywhere in the country.

Local service covering: Sefton (Merseyside).

How to access or apply for it:

For an informal discussion or for more information, please telephone the Sefton Lifeline control centre on 0151 928 5908.

What to expect then:

A telephone line is used to connect you to a 24 hour 365 day a year call centre. If you need assistance there will be a trained Operator available who can contact family or friends or the emergency service on your behalf.

Should you have a fall, or are unable to get to the phone you can call for assistance with a portable alarm that can be worn as a pendant.

As assistive technology develops, so does the service we can provide. A range of devices are now available to help provide independent living, these include fall sensors, smoke detectors and movement detectors(PIR) are provided through the telecare service.
