Gilbert Richards Centre

What does it do?

The Gilbert Richards Centre provides services for people aged 50 and over. They also run a social club which is held Monday to Friday, 10.30am to 3.30pm and a luncheon club on Mondays and Tuesdays from 12-1pm, meals should be booked in advance. Annual membership of the club costs £2.00. Lunch costs £4.10. Activities include: Monday mornings - Line Dancing 10.30 am and Whist Drive; Tuesdays - Keep Fit 10.30 am, Bingo 1.30pm; Wednesday mornings - Tai Chi 10.30 am; Thursday mornings - Line dancing 10.30 am, Keep Yourself Fit . A refreshment bar is available. Age UK also run various workshops including Computer Classes. Anyone over 50 is welcome. Rooms are available for hire (contact the organisers for details). The Spencer group for people recovering from mental health difficulties is based here.
