Greenwich CMHT for Older People

What does it do?

We offer assessment and treatment for people over the age of 65 with mental health needs. We also offer support to their families and carers, including carer's assessments if appropriate. We see people with a range of mental health needs including:
  • anxiety
  • dementia with behaviour problems
  • depression
  • other mental health problems.
We also have a memory clinic. This assesses memory loss and treats the early stages of dementia.

Who it is for?

People over the age of 65 with mental health needs in the Greenwich area.

Where it is available?

Local service (Greenwich).

What it costs:

The service is free of charge.

How to access or apply for it:

Most of the people we see are referred by their doctor. Your GP will have assessed whether other factors, such as physical difficulties, are causing your problems. Also, if you are in hospital, you may have been referred to us by your consultant.
We are open Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.
