What does it do?Short term and long term (North Warks) support in clients own home to assist recovery, offering: Pension collection Shopping Light housework support Laundry needs Prescription collection Assistance with correspondence Occasional assistance with meal preparation Individual needs are discussed with the client in their own home. Clients still needing assistance after the service has finished may be referred back to Social Services. Note that the service does not offer: Personal Care Spring Cleaning Cleaning windows or cookers Administering medication or eye drops

Who it is for:

Clients who are over 60 and recovering from illness or accident who are not considered eligible for Social Services resources.

Local service covering: North Warwickshire, Nuneaton & Bedworth, Rugby, Stratford-on-Avon, Warwick (Warwickshire).

What it costs:

Costs are per hour per visit.

Community - No self referrals. Hospital Discharge – Anyone can refer just before or immediately after discharge.
