What does it do?GO50

The GO50 Project is run by Age Concern Surrey and aims to introduce people over the age of 50 to the benefits of regular exercise and healthier lifestyles. With the help of over 100 dedicated volunteers, GO50 organises a year round programme of activities including countryside walks, off-road cycling, health walks, Nordic walks and community projects. Visit http://www.acsurrey.org.uk/go50/pdf/brochure_april.pdf to see our brochure for April - June. Alternatively, visit http://www.acsurrey.org.uk/go50/pdf/brochure_large.pdf for a simpler, larger print version.

“fit as a fiddle”
Age Concern is Big Lottery Funded for the “fit as a fiddle” programme designed to help older people to live healthier, more active and fulfilling lives. The programme delivers a range of courses for older people in physical activity and healthy eating while encouraging healthy lifestyles. For each new activity, “fit as a fiddle” will support an active network, generally the first eight sessions for a minimum of 12 people. The participants can therefore try out something new, entirely free, for eight sessions. Click on the link to find out more.
