What does it do?

Health walks are regular, short walks, and are aimed at people over 50 of all abilities and fitness levels. Every walk is led by trained walk leaders and is part of the National Walking for Health programme.Walking is an ideal way to take regular exercise, it is sociable and enjoyable and enables you to get out in the fresh air and visit some of the beautiful green spaces in your local area.

Local service (Hambleton, Harrogate, York, Craven, Middlesbrough, Redcar & Cleveland, Richmondshire, Ryedale, Scarborough, Selby).

All walks are free.

What to expect then:

It is an opportunity to meet new people - bring a friend if you are nervous.

As well as the walk you can have a chat and a coffee at the end of the walk.  Our trained leafers will make sure that no-one is left behind.
