 | Care and Repair Wakefield is a confidential service run by Chevin Housing Association to provide advice and assistance to older homeowners, people with disabilities of any age and low income households to carry out repairs, improvements or adaptations to their homes. The home owner must live in the Wakefield borough. Care and Repair's aim is to enable people to remain in their own homes in security and comfort.
Care and Repair offers the following services:
- Advice about repairs, improvements and adaptations.
- Help with all types of grant applications.
- Support during and after the application, as well as during and after the work has proceeded.
- Help in finding reliable builders and obtain estimates for the work.
- Advice on methods of paying for the work and helping you to obtain the necessary finance.
