What does it do?
Age UK Suffolk Advocacy Service works as part of Total Voice Suffolk.

This is an innovative collaboration between local specialist advocacy providers and Suffolk County Council.

What is Advocacy?

Advocacy is speaking and taking action with someone to ensure they can have their wishes heard, make their own choices and take control over their lives.
Advocacy promotes social inclusion, equality and justice.

Who it is for?

Anyone over 55 years of age and living in Suffolk. This includes older people with physical and sensory disabilities, dementia, learning disabilities or mental health problems.

If you have Advocacy support needs during periods of disability or ill health, or are having to make decisions about your life and or your care we can help you.

Where it is available?

Local service covering: Babergh, Forest Heath, Ipswich, Mid Suffolk, St Edmundsbury, Suffolk Coastal, Waveney (Suffolk).
