Counselling Service

What does it do?

BSVI offers one to one counselling sessions for people of all ages, including children, who are struggling to come to terms with their sight loss. We are also able to offer one to one or group sessions for family and carers who need some emotional support.

Who it is for?

For anyone who is experiencing emotional, psychological or relationship difficulties arising from sight loss.

Where it is available?

Local service (Bournemouth).

What it costs:

The service is free but clients are asked to make a donation if affordable.

Call the BSVI to access this service.

What to expect then:

An advisor will discuss your individual circumstances with you and will arrange an appointment.

Additional information:

Sessions at the Centre are available to anyone with a significant sight loss; home visits are only currently available to Bournemouth residents.
