What does it do?HouseProud is a service for people over 60 or with a disability who are considering carrying out improvements, adaptations or repairs to their home.

HouseProud can assist with advice, support to help yo carry out these works. Whether you use your own funds or if you are a homeowner and require a loan, we can help to arrange risk free loans.

The HouseProud team can visit you in your home and discuss the work you are considering, design the scheme to suit your requirements and appoint a reliable contractor to undertake the work.

You may also qualify for help with adaptations through other sources - such as benevolent funds linked to your employment, we can assist you to find out if you are eligible.

You need not own your home, tenants can also use the HouseProud service. If you are able to fund the work yourself, we just need to get your landlords permission.
