What does it do?These are services that your landlord, or somebody who works for them (like a warden or support worker) provide to help you to live at home and stay independent.
Supported Living services can be things like: - an emergency alarm
- help to fill in forms or arrange appointments
- help to keep your home safe and secure
- support and/or training so you can move on to housing with less support
- help to manage your money and meet the conditions of your tenancy agreement
- help to arrange shopping or cleaning
- befriending service

Who it is for: Supported Living is a way of paying for support services for vulnerable adults. Adults who may be vulnerable are: older people, people with learning disabilities, people with mental health problems, people fleeing domestic violence, homeless people, young people leaving care, people with drug and alcohol problems and people with a physical or sensory disability. | Where it is available: Local service covering: Reading (Berkshire). | What it costs: If you get Housing Benefit your Supporting Living charge is paid in full by the Supported Living Team. In most cases we will pay the money directly to the organisation who provides your Supported Living Services.
