Floating Support

What does it do?

Floating Support is a service that provides housing related support to older people to enable them to maintain their independence in their own home. This kind of support service helps the individual to become more independent and may mean that they can continue to live independently at home when with out support it would be difficult to do so.
Examples of how we can support you:

·     Housing benefits claims and benefits advice
·     Housing problems and rent arrears
·     Neighbour disputes
·     Finding local activities and training/employment
·     Budgeting and financial advice
·     Staying active and healthyent,

Who it is for?

The service is for people over 55 years of age who live in the London Boroughs of Hackney or Redbridge.

Where it is available?

Local service (Hackney, Redbridge).

What it costs:

The service is free at the point of use and is funded by the local authority.
