At Extra Help Leeds North, my aim is to improve the service within the diverse Leeds North community; enabling elderly people to remain independent in their own homes by supporting them with housekeeping and shopping assistance and allowing busy people more time to spend with family and friends.
Our Home Helpers are carefully chosen to suit the needs of our clients, and are all vetted and DBS checked. Home Helpers must have a caring and responsible attitude and a committed professionalism to work within the local community.

Typical services we can offer you include:
Companionship – popping in, spending some time or providing respite for carers                                              Accompanying to appointments, library, place of worship or social events
Domestic cleaning, tidying, decluttering, laundry and ironing
Shopping & meal preparation
Gardening and DIY

Thank you for your interest. We aim to call potential clients back within 24 hours (except weekends) and have an informal chat to establish a clients' needs and what we can do to help you. A meeting can then be arranged to meet you and discuss the terms of Extra Help further. If the services are agreed and signed, the client will then be introduced to the home helper that we will match to ensure they are comfortable. We always aim to provide you with the same regular home helper for continuity of care and consistency of service. Regular reviews are conducted to ensure the service you are receiving is meeting your expectations. All feedback is welcomed.

Our service is flexible and is tailored around every individual client’s needs. As a Dementia Friend and Dignity Champion I pledge to listen to and understand the views and experiences of our local community whilst providing a high standard of service.
