What does it do?DAY CARE AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

Activity Centres (Halifax, Lower and Upper Valleys)
Provide handicraft and arts activities, plus general social day care, for people with age-related disabilities.
For opening days and venues, please contact the Main Office.
Referrals from Social Services - our staff will advise whether this service may be appropriate for individuals

Service Luncheon Club
Description A club at Wadsworth Community Centre run by volunteers and providing lunches.
Referrals/ Usually open to any older person who may benefit due to Access social isolation or mild disability

Service Day Care for Older People with Mental Health Problems
Description Currently offered on Mondays and Wednesdays – providing a safe and secure environment for users, to give carers a break.
Referrals/ Referrals accepted from Social Services; subject to ourAccess own assessments and also to availability of places
