The home buyers & sellers guide to the Home Information Pack
An explanation of the government's proposal to introduce a mandatory Home Information Pack, which will require all sellers of residential accommodation (except commercial) to have a set of documents to provide buyers and sellers with key information about the property they may wish to buy. Documents will include Land Registry searches, copies of deeds to the property, and a Home Condition Report. The Pack will become mandatory from 1st June 2007
