The Code requires organisations providing sheltered housing to demonstrate that they have clear policies & procedures and that these are put into practice. It is recognised by ODPM & Supporting People, and covers Equality & Diversity, Rights & Responsibilities, Confidentiality, Independence & Empowerment, Service Delivery & Continuous Improvement, Collaboration, Trained & Supported Staff etc.
