The Home Improvement Trust is a 'not for profit' company providing a national grant support service under the Special Grants Programme of the Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions. Its aim is to make available to older and disabled people alternative, affordable funding to supplement the Housing Renewal Grant programme.
