" Our high-quality housing for older people allows residents to live comfortably, securely, and independently whilst in the knowledge that help is there if they need it.

At Homelands we offer purpose-built rental properties for people over the age of 60 or over 55 if you are in receipt of PIP (Personal Independence Payment) or DLA (Disability Living Allowance).

All apartments are purpose built, with a lounge, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom which includes walk-in shower. An alarm call system is linked to a 24-hour, 365 day control centre and can be accessed from all rooms. There is also an option for extra care for those residents who may need a little more help to remain independent.

Homelands offers a wide range of facilities, including a large frequently-used communal lounge, communal gardens, an on-site laundry, hairdresser (by appointment only) communal library, communal parking bays and a guest room for visitors.

The flats are located close to Tower Hill shops and chemist bus routes to Birmingham city centre, West Bromwich & Walsall town centres are easily accessible. Local GP surgeries and dental practices are also located within the vicinity. Scott Arms shopping centre is a five-minute bus ride away and has a range of shops and larger supermarkets.

Our residents have the opportunity to take part in a variety of planned group events and activities, as well as make use of the communal facilities on site. Residents who wish to can participate in a wide variety of planned events and activities such as regular afternoon tea, quizzes, crafts and charity events.

There is a Scheme Manager Service responsible for the management of the building, security and communal areas. The Scheme Manager is onsite Monday Tuesday Thursday 8.00am to 5.00pm. Wednesday 8.00am - 4.30pm Friday 8.00am - 2.00pm. The communal areas are maintained by Sanctuary Housing Association (cleaning and repairs), although residents are responsible for minor repairs within their own flats.
