The scheme provides a suitable environment for those who wish to remain independent for as long as possible but need help and support on a regular basis. 'Extra care' accommodation is different from ordinary sheltered housing schemes - additional facilities provide on-site care and support 24 hours a day.

The flats - some wheelchair accessible - and common areas have been built around courtyard spaces which boast some very attractive gardens. Each flat has a living room, a bedroom, a fitted kitchen, and a bathroom - some with level access showers.
