Show more "Brookside House sits in the suburb of Knotty Ash in Liverpool, enjoying a convenient location on a direct bus route to the thriving city centre. The court is situated close to supermarkets and the Old Swan shopping centre where there is a post office and a wide variety of stores. Three doctors surgeries are within one mile of the court and little further afield is the Broad Green Hospital. Other nearby amenities include a bingo hall, several pubs, takeaways and places of worship.

The area enjoys good transport links, with a bus stop outside the court providing regular services to the surrounding suburbs and attractions such as the Liverpool Museum and Albert Dock.

Brookside House has two lifts, communal laundry, guest room, restaurant and hair salon. The court has well-maintained gardens to the rear where residents can sit and enjoy the sunshine or watch the many birds and wildlife that regularly visit. There are also allotments behind the court.

Brookside House residents enjoy a range of social activities including a men’s club, breakfast clubs, tea and toast mornings, and music and chat afternoons. Saturday lunches, bingo sessions, Lancashire market visits and seasonal events also take place throughout the year. Brookside House has a ‘Court Voice’ – a resident who helps to organise social activities." Show less
