Many residents enjoy visiting the weekly market in Hawes, a short drive or bus ride away from the court. Buses run regularly to Hawes and Leyburn from a stop just 100 yards’ walk from the court.

Sycamore Hall is the hub of the village with its own community library, visiting Post Office, shop, restaurant and hair salon.
