We aim to encourage residents to live independently and help them with a variety of needs including physical disabilities and dementia. Ideally located in a quiet residential area of Bishops Stortford, only a short distance from the town centre.Each flat has a fitted kitchen, fitted wardrobe as well as space for your own furniture. Flats are carpeted, bathrooms contain a hand washbasin, toilet and level access shower. Television, telephone points and high-level plug points are fitted in all flats.
Some of our accommodations are situated on the ground floor which may be more suitable for those who have difficulty with stairs. At Frere court residents have access to a shared garden in which they can participate in growing vegetables & gardening.
Restaurant service provides a main meal in the communal dining room every day between 12.30pm-2pm a week -specific dietary /cultural needs and personal tastes are catered for. Visitors can purchase a meal, preferably with 24 hours notice to the caterers. In house basic food provisions are provided for; breakfast and tea which customers prepare in their own flat.
A care line alarm service is installed in each flat and communal areas. Schemes are staffed with a Supported Housing Officer and Supported Housing Assistant on site Monday-Friday between 9am -5pm. Night cover is a sleep -in post 7 nights a week 8pm to 8am. There is also communal cleaning, communal gardening and communal windows services." Show less
