Show more "Granville Court is a friendly development in a quiet cul de sac in the heart of Wallasey village, near the seaside town of New Brighton. The village offers a range of restaurants, shops and a post office all just a short walk from the court and there are several churches, doctors surgeries and golf clubs in the area. A range of larger supermarkets are within easy driving distance, Wallasey village is a short walk from the court and has good transport links to the wider area, with a bus stop and railway station. Buses run regularly into Liscard, New Brighton, Birkenhead and Liverpool. The local taxis are reliable and offer discounts to older people. There is always something going on in the nearby town of New Brighton, which has a multiplex cinema and the popular Floral Pavilion theatre as well as a range of traditional sea-front attractions. Granville Court has two lounges, including a TV room where residents can meet in the evenings to catch up and watch their favourite programmes or play on the Wii. There are two gardens, one of which is a real social space where residents gather in the summer months and where garden parties take place. The larger garden is a peaceful and attractive place to sit and read or just relax, and residents can get involved with gardening if they choose. A hairdresser visits the development every week and a beautician every month." Show less
