Show more "Oak Tree House is a not-for-profit venture, registered by the Charity Commission and managed by Trustees from the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). Its purpose is to provide a caring residential community offering shelter and fulfillment, informed by Quaker values, to Friends and others in their retirement. It welcomes all, of any faith or none, who value their independence within a peaceful and secure environment.Designed and built in the late 1960s on the attractive Bournville Village Estate, it is close to local shops and parks with good transport links to other parts of the city of the Birmingham. It is also very near to both Bournville and Selly Oak Meeting Houses, and to the Quaker Study Centre, Woodbrooke.
