Show more "McGovern Court, situated in Stevenage in Hertfordshire, consists of a mixture 32 single, double and studio flats; with newly fitted modern kitchens. All the flats have views of the attractive gardens. The court has a pleasant communal lounge, laundry room, a twin bed guest room and the court benefits from having a full time court manager service. The local library delivers a wide range of books to the communal lounge every two months and Oakhouse Foods delivers groceries weekly on request. There are good local amenities including a newsagents, chemist, doctors, café and hairdressers. The town centre is approximately two miles away and can be accessed by the bus which operates adjacent to the court.Our Court Manager Service is an important and integral part of Housing 21’s approach to supporting our residents. It is designed to offer support and security to the court and those residents on court who need it. The service is about promoting and encouraging individuals to maintain their independence in their own home.
