The residents all look out for each other and support one another. This scheme is in easy walking distance to Blackburn town centre, local shops and a chemist.

The scheme itself is a great place to live, we get local community agency's coming in to do a talk about what they can offer during coffee mornings that are held every Wednesday between 10:30-11:30am. We also have a good rapport with the local PCSO'S, local fire service and other external agencies.

As this is an independent- living scheme, the flats are all self contained which comprise of a living room, bedroom, kitchen and a bathroom- not open planned. Not to mention, we currently supply white goods to all Flats. Every flat also has their own door entry system that operates the Intercom at the main entrance and pull cords for health and safety purposes (Tunstall equipment) in each room which connects to the staff on duty or to the call centre in Preston.

We also have a communal lounge, a dining room, an indoor bin store and a dedicated laundry room on site which all residents share.

If you are interested in looking around please do not hesitate by getting in contact with me at anytime: Renika.Roberts@placesforpeople.co.uk or ring on 07425728763. Office hours are 9:30am until 4:45pm." Show less
