At Gresley Road we offer purpose-built rental properties for people over the age of 60 or over 55 if you are in receipt of PIP (Personal Independence Payment) or DLA (Disability Living Allowance). Each flat or bungalow consists of a kitchen, lounge, bathroom and bedroom/s with a 24-hour alarm service if ever you have an emergency. Gresley Road offers a wide range of facilities, including a communal lounge and garden, an on-site laundry, communal parking bays and a guest room for visitors. The bungalows are located in a quiet cul-de sac which has a wooded area encouraging lots of natural wildlife. There are two GP surgeries, chemist, library, variety of shops, cafes, and supermarkets close by, the centre of town is a 15 minute walk or there is a regular bus service at the end of the road. The main hospital is just off the centre of town and can be accessed by bus or park and ride. There is a very active local community including a bowls club and events held at local parks throughout the year. There is a Scheme Manager service responsible for the management of the building, security and communal areas.
