Show more "Alistair Robertson House sits in the heart of the village of Bourton-on-the-Water in Gloucestershire and also known as the Venice of the Cotswolds. It was formerly a substantial private residence built in 1940 located just off the High Street and bequeathed to The Abbeyfield Society by the Local Doctor hence the name Alistair Robertson House. The house was renovated and can now accommodate nine residents in private self contained rooms over two floors and in one self contained cottage.

All room are en-suite or have access to the sole use of a bathroom. The rooms are available unfurnished so you are able to bring your own furniture and belongings with you making it a home from home. The House also has a most beautiful and secluded garden where garden parties are enjoyed in the summer and residents can sit outside at their leisure and enjoy the seasonal flowers in bloom. This is a valuable space where residents can chat to one another or just enjoy quiet time watching the various birds that visit the garden. A selection of books is also available in the lounge for residents to enjoy.

We provide a peaceful friendly atmosphere where residents can remain as independent as possible. We currently have a games afternoon which residents thoroughly enjoy and hold our annual summer tea party. Home cooked meals are prepared daily by our dedicated staff and can be enjoyed in the communal lounge / dining room." Show less
