Show more "Ventura Court is located in the picturesque town of New Mills, on the edge of the Peak District and has beautiful countryside views. It is conveniently situated to a good selection of shops in New Mills and transport links into town and onto other villages and surrounding areas. All the necessary amenities are close-by to the development with a health centre just a five minutes walk away.

There is a relaxed, quiet environment within Ventura Court but there are still many social activities that take place in the communal lounge for those residents that wish to join in. The large lounge overlooks stunning countryside views and is very peaceful with access to a kitchen and enclosed accessible terrace that is perfect for gatherings as well as a large beautifully manicured garden.

The development consists of 22 single person one-bedroom flats and 12 two person one-bedroom flats. All properties are fully self-contained with their own kitchen, bathroom and front door, together with a 24-hour alarm system, which can be activated in an emergency, and access to an Independent Living Coordinator is available at specific times during the week. We have a guest room where two people can stay, for those wishing to have family stay over.

The town of New Mills is set in an area of spectacular natural beauty standing above a natural rocky gorge, known as The Torrs, where the River Sett joins the River Goyt. The town is home to a wide range of independent food retailers and has a good selection of restaurants, cafes and pubs. The Torrs Riverside Park, the park 'under the town', extends to two miles and is a superb place to walk, picnic and learn about the natural and industrial history of the area." Show less
