Every resident has the positive choice, each day, to live an independent life and/or join in with the range of social activities. Facilities include a residents’ lounge, hairdressers, lift, laundry room and two overnight guest rooms. The court is set in landscaped communal gardens including mature trees and extensive shrubbery, with generously sized single and couple flats and several cost effective studios. Useful local amenities for residents include a local authority leisure centre with swimming pool and gym, cinema complex and local theatres, a Tesco supermarket, and doctors surgeries all within walking distance. The court is located within one mile of Batley town centre, on the main bus route in, which also goes on to Dewsbury.Our Court Manager Service is an important and integral part of Housing 21’s approach to supporting our residents. It is designed to offer support and security to the court and those residents on court who need it. The service is about promoting and encouraging individuals to maintain their independence in their own home.
