Eric Long is located on the outskirts of popular housing area, not far from Swindon General Hospital, within walking distance of local shops (supermarket, post office, newsagent and fish & chips). The court is also close to doctors’ surgery, dentist, pharmacy and church; there is a friendly community centre nearby too. Bus stop to town centre & hospital is opposite the court entrance.Inside there is a residents’ lounge & dining room with pool table, laundry room, lift, and overnight guest room with twin beds, for visitors. A refurbishment of the common areas was completed in 2012. Eric Long Court has 21 one bed flats, 7 studio flats and 4 two bed flats (32 flats in total).
Our Court Manager Service is an important and integral part of Housing 21’s approach to supporting our residents. It is designed to offer support and security to the court and those residents on court who need it. The service is about promoting and encouraging individuals to maintain their independence in their own home.
