“Ormerod Court is a friendly Court with a nice garden, and the scheme backs on to the edge of Mayer Park which is situated in Bromborough Road, only 200 yards from the centre of Bebington Village with its full range of shops and other facilkities. There are excellent train and bus services and access to motorway connections.
Ormerod Court supports healthy living and is also part of the Bag a Bargain scheme. The scheme currently sells around 200 bags per week to customers around the Wirral who place their order each Tuesday to collect the following week. Bag a Bargain was set up as part of Together, the Neighbourhood Management Pathfirnders' Healthy Neighbourhood plan which is led by Wirral Primary Care Trust (PCT) and the Riverside Group in partnership with residents. Its success is largely due to the involvement of volunteers on a weekly basis who help run the scheme. Each bag of fruit, veg or salad costs £3.00 - it's good value and is delivered to the scheme.
