Show more "Positioned on the outskirts of the very pretty, historical village of Brewood, Deansfield House has 19 one bedroom apartments. It has 3 levels and there is a lift for your convenience. There is a communal lounge available to residents for entertainment and activities and a communal laundry facility for residents to use. There is also a guest room if your relatives or friends want to stay overnight. Parking for residents is located at the front of the property.

The complex has a main entrance door and can be opened to visitors via an intercom system in each apartment. This, coupled with the community alarm service, makes for a safe and secure environment.

There are various activities that currently take place within the complex, including a well established lunch club every 2nd Wednesday in the month, access to computers and the internet and a weekly visit from the hair dresser. Coffee mornings take place twice weekly, along with knit and natter and bingo. There are also 1 and 2 bedroom apartments and 3 bungalows in Bishops Drive. The residents of these properties have access to the communal facilities within Deansfield House.

There is a bus service nearby, and although there is excellent access to the M54 and M6, Brewood is a rural village with many rustic traditions. It is surrounded by unspoilt countryside and some of the apartments have views which look out to Cannock Chase. There are various shops in the village, along with some very popular public houses and a Bistro, all of which are within walking distance. The local community centre also holds various events and entertainment, including the annual music festival, which attracts people from neighbouring villages. Brewood has the close knit community spirit and active social life associated with village life." Show less
