Since the scheme opened in 2011, the residents have created genuine friendships which in turn, has shaped a real family environment.Conveniently located in Gravesend, Watling Court comprises 56 apartments alongside communal facilities for over 55s. Apartments are available on an affordable basis, via the local authority, Gravesham Borough Council. Personal and domestic care can be provided* by our on-site domiciliary care team, Caring Companions, alternatively your support needs can be met by a care provider of your choice, a friend or a loved one.
Those living at Watling Court enjoy living independent lives within the community, with peace of mind that they are in a safe environment with housing staff on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week, should an emergency arise. A two-course hot meal is provided each day at lunch time, giving residents the opportunity to socialise and get to know their neighbours.
Your guests are welcome to join you for lunch, for a small charge. Watling Court has everything you need all under one roof but getting out and about is easy too. There are convenience stores, food outlets and a pharmacy just a short stroll from the scheme and there is a bus stop just across the street. The local buses provide direct access into Gravesend, Dartford and Bluewater.
