“The care and attention provided by the Scheme Manager also includes a requirement to respond to the need of any resident (in the first instance) where, due to the advent of ill-health, accident or some other cause, the resident is in need of help. The Scheme Manager will respond by giving immediate practical aid and alert the residents's doctor and relatives and will continue to give comfort and support until the arrival of the doctor and relatives and will continue to give comfort until the arrival of the doctor and relatives and the normal Health and Social Services Authorities have been alerted.

There is no communal lounge at Harvest Court but residents do have use of the Committee Room at the Community Centre across from the development on Thursday afternoons from 2 - 4.30pm. A weekly coffee morning is held in the Committee Room on Thursday mornings, and a monthly lunch is held at the local Blackberry Jack pub
