Manager's description

“Housing 21, in partnership with Birmingham City Council and the Homes and Communities Agency, is delighted to have developed Westhall Court, a stunning mixed tenure extra care development, specifically for people aged 55 and over. Westhall Court comprises 87 two bed apartments, of which 30 are available for shared ownership sale and 12 for outright sale.

Each apartment is spacious, with a level access shower room, and a fitted kitchen with oven, hob and fridge freezer included. There is a restaurant, communal lounge, hairdressing salon, well-being suite, hobbies room, guest suite. Together with a full time court manager service there are care and support services on-site 24 hours per day tailored to support individual needs.

The development is located within the established residential area of Yardley, approximately 1.2 miles east of Birmingham. The scheme benefits from a good network of roads nearby including Meadway which is the main artery road connecting Birmingham city centre to both the M6 & M42. There are also good public transport links to the city centre and North Solihull. Poolway shopping centre is close to the development and includes a post office and library.
