Show more "Tucked away and surrounded by breathtaking views of the countryside, Esk Moors was first established around 20 years ago as a way of providing much needed accommodation for people who had lived in the local area their whole lives.

At Esk Moors Lodge there are 14 good sized self contained flats, complete with a kitchen area and bathroom. We have a lift which provides easy access to all 3 floors of the building.

With a beautiful garden summer house, hairdressing facilities and a large screen for watching movies on, there is always something to do with your fellow residents. We have a busy events schedule throughout the year with themed lunches once a month, big birthday celebrations and plenty of arts and crafts activities to enjoy.

Situated in the Upper Esk Valley, we are lucky to have stunning views right on our doorstep. We are close by to Castleton Moor train station, with regular trains to nearby towns and cities such as Whitby and Middlesbrough. There are many amenities in the local area including two lovely village pubs, a post office and a shop.

Our staff are all very kind, caring and dedicated people who are always happy to help. Our group of very hard working and fantastically dedicated volunteers also work tirelessly to help make Esk Moors Lodge a brilliant place to live.

The Heather Hopper, our local community bus, is based within our house, meaning residents can easily book onto any of the fantastic days out to meet new people and enjoy lunches out or trips to the seaside.

We have a care team onsite 24 hours a day, providing daily and emergency background support if needed.

We are a very happy house, full of good food, fun and interesting things to do to" Show less
