Show more "Situated in Moredon, a quiet area of Swindon, Maple Court is just 10 minutes bus ride from the town centre and 5 minutes from a designer outlet village. A couple of minutes walk in either direction will lead you onto a rural trail with old railway tracks and children’s play areas. Public transport is very accessible with a bus stop just round the corner from the court and a train station in the town. Just across the road there is a post office, medical centre, convenience store and pub, and just a little further by bus there are a collection of supermarkets.

Maple Court is well equipped with a restaurant, hair dressers, day centre, laundry room, guest room and two lifts. There are two lounges and assisted bathing facilities. Outside there is a communal garden with decking and patio areas as well as secure parking onsite. The gardens are child friendly and often full of wildlife.

Regular activities are held on court with coffee mornings well-attended. There is a social committee who organise activities such as quizzes, race nights, move afternoons, bingo and garden parties. Outside agencies regularly visit the court including clothes shops, opticians and dentists.

Our Court Manager Service is an important and integral part of Housing 21’s approach to supporting our residents. It is designed to offer support and security to the court and those residents on court who need it. The service is about promoting and encouraging individuals to maintain their independence in their own home.

Our Managers are also responsible for the day to day running of the court including looking after the Health & Safety, property management and resident engagement." Show less
