There are 45 spacious bedrooms with en suites. Although the bedrooms are furnished to a high standard, we do encourage Residents to bring in their own items to give a sense of familiarity. There are 2 beautifully furnished lounges that boast large flat screen TVs and a variety of chairs and sofas to accommodate Resident’s seating preference. Kensington has 2 dining rooms with Kitchenette facilities accessible to visitors and families for refreshments, including tea, coffee and homemade cakes. A varied menu is provided and Residents are able to eat in their own rooms if preferred.
The corridors are wide, light and airy making much use of natural light via light wells and large windows. Additional to the lounges, the corridors are also furnished to offer alternative resting areas Kensington has a well used patio area at the front of the building where Residents enjoy potting plants or even the occasional sunshine."
