Residents’ rooms are large and comfortable, with en-suite facilities, stylish furniture, phone, internet and television connection points, and a 24-hour nurse call system. Some rooms offer attractive views of our garden.
We have a choice of lounges so residents can choose to be with friends or find a quieter space to be with visitors or simply relax on their own. During 2012 we’re developing a bistro which will offer a formal dining experience. Residents will be able to choose whether to eat at the bistro or in our existing dining room, which has a more relaxed atmosphere. We also have an activity room, a quiet room, a sensory room, a contemplation room and a hairdressing salon.
Around the home you’ll find a number of thoughtful details that support memory, comfort and security for residents with dementia – things like sensory equipment and rummage boxes containing interesting objects.
Outside, our secure gardens include raised flower beds, a patio area, water features and rabbit hutches." Show less
