"Abbeyfield Monmouth is a retirement home located in the beautiful historic town of Monmouth, nestled in the heart of the stunning Wye Valley, famous for its iconic 13th century gatehouse bridge.

We offer sheltered housing for residents aged 55+ providing our residents the privacy and independence of having their own high quality, affordable accommodation combined with the support from a professional, dedicated and caring team of staff. We have ten en-suite studio rooms, all of a high standard and couples are welcome to rent a room too.

Abbeyfield Monmouth has a guest room where your visiting family and friends can stay for the night for a small fee, with lunch and dinner included, this can be discussed with the House Manager.

Come and spend time in the communal lounge where our residents like to meet and catch up. We love to come together to share meals in the dining room, it's a great way to find out more about our residents whilst eating delicious home cooked meals together and enjoying great company. Our conservatory and garden is the ideal place to spend some time relaxing, reading a good book or meeting up with family and friends.

The house was built in 1993 and is situated just a short distance from the picturesque town of Monmouth where you'll find an abundance of shops, post office, supermarket and a wide range of local cafes and restaurants. There is also a good regular bus link to the local community and Newport City Centre.

Abbeyfield Monmouth has laundry facilities for all to use and internet access is also available to allow you to keep in touch with loved ones or use it to browse the web. For extra peace of mind we have a community alarm system which is monitored twenty four hours a day and a live in manager, so you can feel safe and secure." Show less
