The care that we offer is of a consistently high standard, ensuring that you retain your individuality, dignity and respect at all times. Queensway House has many great local facilities around that you can make use of whenever you feel like.The local shops include a pharmacy and a convenience store for day to day items just across the road from the home. There are regular buses stopping outside the main entrance that go to Hemel Hempstead town centre. There are a few local taxi firms available too. The home also has a landscaped garden and a sensory garden. The gardens are wheelchair accessible enabling anyone to simply go out in one of the several seating areas to enjoy the fresh air.
Queensway House has many great local facilities around that you can make use of whenever you feel like. There are some local shops including a pharmacy and a convenience store just a across the road from the home. There are also regular buses that go into Hemel Hempstead town centre for shopping centre and large departmental stores. There are a few local taxi firms available to take you should you not wish to use the bus. Just ask a member of staff to help you arrange the taxi for the day and time you require.
The activities organiser also arranges regular shopping trips into town for those of you who like the comfort of company when going out. Queensway house also has a small shop in the home selling a handful of items such as toiletries, sweets, soft drinks and stationary.
