A registered care home, The Oaks is positioned in the centre of the popular Hartrigg Oaks retirement village. It forms an integral part of this community of around 250 people, all aged 60 plus and is a stimulating and vibrant environment in which to live.
It is conveniently located in the heart of the Edwardian garden village of New Earswick, on the outskirts of York and if ideally placed to be part of village life and still be within easy year of the historic city centre.
Person-centred care and support is provided by a dedicated team of qualified nurses and carers, who are focused on ensuing that each individual’s preferences and wishes are fully taken into account when planning care.
Being part of Hartrigg Oaks, means that there is access to an extensive range of on-site communal facilities including a coffee shop and restaurant, gym with spa pool, arts and crafts room and library.
