Show more "Situated in the beautiful seaside town of Porthcawl, Abbeyfield House is a retirement home offering sheltered housing for older people who would like to remain independent without the worry of having to maintain their own home, with support on hand when they need it.

Our beautiful home has eight studio flats and was built in 1989. The whole house is wheelchair accessible and is the ideal retirement home for retired people who are looking for companionship and support.

We're in a great location with a bus stop close by to the house for those who are looking to get out and about to explore, local shops, a post office and the town centre are only half a mile from the house too.

For extra security we have a careline alarm service which is monitored twenty four hours a day, meaning you can feel safe and secure in your new home.

The home also benefits from a communal lounge, which is a great place to relax, catch up with friends and family or take part in some games. Our lovely garden is wonderful for enjoying a peaceful breath of fresh air, whiling away the hours in the sunshine or doing a spot of gardening.

We love to come together at meal times, sharing deliciously tasty home cooked meals which we eat in the communal dining room. It's a lovely way to share good stories, wonderful food and great company.

Our rooms come unfurnished so that you can bring your favourite pieces of furniture, treasured memories and cherished photographs, so you can really make the house feel like your home.

Our dedicated, caring and friendly staff are always on hand to help you when you need support, and nothing is ever too much." Show less
