The home accommodation is provided over two floors and is in four units, one of which provides nine beds for specialist care for people living with dementia this is located on the ground floor. All the units have their own lounge with television and also a dining area. Residents are encouraged to personalise their individual bedrooms with photographs small items of furniture, pictures etc.The home is located in the lovely town of Kirkby Stephen situated close to the local shops, cafes, GP surgery, bank and churches all within walking distance of the home. The grounds of the home are wheelchair accessible and there is an enclosed garden / patio area to the back of the home which provides a safe environment for the residents to enjoy." Show less
